The Assistant Athletic Director for Strategic Ticketing and Sales Analytics oversees the overall ticket operation and is responsible for ticket sales and attendance for football, basketball, and select Olympic sports games. This individual is responsible for developing and implementing strategic ticketing initiatives to maximize sales by collaborating with all externally focused departments. By using sales analytics, this position will seek to increase ticket sales and the overall ticketing experience for fans.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Responsible for ticket sales, attendance, revenue and ticket operations for the athletics department. -Oversees all daily operations of the ticket office. -Supervises Director of Ticketing & Premium Seating and Part-Time Ticket Assistant. -Prepares daily sales reports and settlements. -Manages the season ticket renewal process for football, men’s basketball and women’s basketball, including but not limited to, preparing the timeline, mailing invoices, processing invoices and mailing tickets for the season ticket renewal process.

QUALIFICATIONS:

-A demonstrated knowledge of sales, marketing and ticket operations is required for this position. -Must be able to think strategically by demonstrating an understanding of market trends affecting the University’s competitiveness. -Must be able to effectively build collaborative relationships and maintain a consistent customer orientation. -Experience with Paciolan analytics software. -Previous experience partnering and working with outbound marketing firms, -Strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Must be able to communicate effectively with a diverse population. -Ability to perform accurate detail-oriented work. -A thorough knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations, specifically pertaining to ticket operations and ticketing for athletic contests is essential to this position. Adherence to all applicable NCAA, conference, and institutional rules and regulations is required.

WORK HOURS:

Full-time, exempt position Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; 7.75 hrs./day; 38.75 hrs./week Requires work on weekends and nights during football and basketball season

SALARY STRUCTURE: Pay Grade 7 (Hiring Range $51,181.00 to $67,805.00 annually)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

-A bachelor’s degree is required.
-Individual must have at least 5 years of experience in sales, marketing and ticket operations; previous experience in college athletics strongly preferred.
