USCAA

• Supervise, train, and coordinate the daily activities of the cheer, dance and mascots and season milestones.
• Manage a staff of coaches and trainers for the personal and athletic skill development of team members.
• Responsible for operations, implementation and execution of gameday duties and responsibilities.
• Manage and perform administrative tasks as they relate to athletic spirit activities.
• Serve as liaison for athletic groups, key program influencers and other campus areas.
• Work with Marketing and Ideation Departments on the creation of promotion materials.
• Coordinate team travel efforts.
• Oversee player development, including player well-being and recruiting efforts.
• Manage operating budget.
• Manage and maintain equipment, facilities and upkeep.
• Manage seasonal program calendar and key milestones.
• Ensure that spirit fundraising goals are being met.
• Monitor and enforce NCAA, ACC, and University guidelines and update departmental manuals, and coach USASF certifications.
• Develop and maintain positive and productive relationships with key internal and external constituents.
• Cooperate with the Athletics compliance office regarding NCAA rules and policies, including reporting requirements, and make a determined effort to ensure that staff and teams are in compliance.
• Exhibit the GT Athletics core values of character, excellence, teamwork, and innovation.  Promote these values throughout the organization with a focus on fulfilling the GT Athletics mission.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree

Required Experience:

• Collegiate coaching experience

Required Skills:

• Ability to communicate and adhere to University, American Coastal Conference and NCAA policies, procedures, rules ‎and regulations and American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Advisors Safety Certification.
• Must be willing to travel and be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
