Knowledgeable and Compliant with NCAA rules and regulations at all times.

Responsible for the training, teaching, and conditioning of student-athletes in preparation for contests. Planning and supervising all practice. Preparing game strategies and other coaching duties during contests.

Responsible for the overseeing the concerns of student-athletes on and off the field. This includes monitoring the academic progress and eligibility.

Responsible for a variety of administrative tasks but not limited to the following: Annual reports, recruiting logs, practice calendars, scheduling and other NCAA compliance related reports.

Responsible for allotted budget parameters. This includes responsibility of all equipment purchases and make all necessary travel arrangements. It is the Head Coaches responsibility to be fiscally responsible in these practices.

Responsible for assisting in the organization and participation of community service initiatives in order to promote Mississippi University for Women and Owls athletics.

Responsible for some home game day management for winter and spring sports

Responsible for any and all other duties assigned by the Director of Athletics

Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred

Requires 3 or more years of coaching experience at the collegiate level.

Knowledge and adherence to NCAA rules.

Excellent organization and time management skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Familiar with the use of Microsoft Suite of programs

First Aid and CPR certification

Clean driving record and valid drivers license
