The Kansas Women’s Soccer Assistant Coach will be responsible for helping to create a soccer team that competes successfully at the Big 12 and national level both athletically and academically. Assist with overall supervision, organization, development and implementation of a nationally competitive women’s intercollegiate women’s soccer program, including recruitment and evaluation of prospective student athletes, planning and helping coach training sessions, scouting opponents and helping create Scouting reports, video breakdown and analysis of the KU team, home event management, Helping coordinate team travel, helping with camp coordination, compliance with NCAA, Big 12 and institutional rules, and a commitment to academic development of student-athletes.

equired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university;
• Division 1 soccer coaching experience at a Power 5 conference athletic program;
• Minimum 5 years of soccer coaching experience working with student-athletes at a college/university athletics program, competitive club level team, high school, or professional level;
• Possess and maintain USSF B License and/or UEFA B License;
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations as they apply to the area of recruiting and eligibility;
• Video editing experience with demonstrated editing skills, and experience using professional editing software;
• Game analysis experience and exceptional knowledge as it relates to Soccer game rules and regulations;
• Demonstrated exceptional analytical ability, problem-solving skills and solutions focused approach;
• Ability and willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed during peak game and recruiting seasons.
