Other essential responsibilities of the position include:

•Planning and organizing practice and workouts designed to properly prepare student-athletes to excel in Division I and Big East conference competition

•Coordinating the travel and scheduling of games

•Collaborating with the strength and conditioning staff to ensure the development of effective conditioning and weight training programs

•Monitoring the mental and physical health of student-athletes under the guidance of the athletic training staff

•Creating an environment that champions the development of the whole person •Managing the program’s operating budget

•Assisting with fundraising and alumni engagement efforts

•Ensuring proper compliance with institutional, conference and NCAA rules and regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• 8+ years of head or assistant coaching experience at the collegiate level or higher
• Proven track record of player development
• Strong motivation and leadership skills
• Excellent interpersonal communications skills
