The Assistant Commissioner will work directly with the Commissioner and other key stakeholders in the Ohio Athletic Conference. In addition to general administrative responsibilities, the position will oversee OAC championship operations, facilitate website enhancements and assist with all external relations.

Primary Championship Operations Responsibilities: (1) Develop, oversee and execute the conference's championship operations strategy. (2) Create, publish and share content associated with conference championships. (3) Social media coverage of conference championships.

Primary Media Responsibilities: (1)Develop a strategy for comprehensive review of OAC web presence. (2) Execute review of OAC web presence and make recommendations for enhancement. (3) Day-to-day management of OAC website. (4) Assist with OAC social media accounts.

Primary External Relations Responsibilities: (1) Develop relationships with potential corporate partners. (2) Identify opportunities for local events/championships.

Other: (1) Assist with planning and execution of OAC meetings. (2) Other duties and projects as assigned.

-Bachelor's degree required.

-Strong written and public speaking skills.

-Experience in event management preferred.

-Experience with or interest in marketing, promotions or community relations.

-Experience with or interest in web design and social media.

-Passion for intercollegiate athletics and the student-athlete experience.

-Superior organizational, leadership and project management skills.

-Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
