Illinois Wesleyan University, a NCAA Division III institution, invites applications for the position of Men's Lacrosse Graduate Assistant. This 10 month position includes a tuition waiver and stipend of $1300 per month. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; coaching specific segment as designated by head coach (Preferably experience with Face-offs), recruiting, game planning, strength and conditioning, and game management. Coaching position will start August 1, 2022 with classes also starting in August for the graduate degree program. Successful candidates will adhere to all rules of the CCIW, NCAA, IWU, and will fulfill the requirements and expectations of the Illinois State University graduate program. Candidates must be accepted and enroll in one of the following graduate degree sequences; Biomechanics, Exercise Physiology, Psychology of Sport, Sport Management, Recreation Administration, or Physical Education Teachers Education. The individual should have playing or coaching experience at the collegiate level and must have or be willing to obtain a strength and conditioning certification. Candidates must meet the requirement for admission into the Illinois State Graduate School (3.0 in last 60 hours and qualifying GRE score).
