Department Description
The Executive Senior Associate Athletics Director position is a key member of the Athletic Director's executive leadership team and a critical senior manager with significant autonomy and decision-making responsibility. The position will manage the Compliance and Student-Athlete Wellness Service units and is responsible for overseeing Athletics' compliance with Title IX.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent, or combination of training and or/equivalent experience.
- Experience, analyzing, interpreting, and reviewing NCAA Division 1 rules and regulations, including Title IX.
- Experience in leadership and management of people.
- Experience overseeing Student Athlete Wellness programs, such as Sports Medicine.
- Minimum of five years management and leadership experience in a large complex intercollegiate athletics program or a related field with comparable responsibilities and oversight.
- Demonstrated experience with management of budget allocation and expenditures to set and meet goals and objectives.
- Interpersonal, customer service, oral and written communication skills to work effectively and establish cooperative working relationships with persons from diverse backgrounds and at various organizational levels within and outside the University.
- Ability to prioritize high volume workloads and deadline.
Preferred Education/Experience
- Masters Degree.
- Experience working collaboratively with the University of California or comparable public research university and campus administrators to achieve organizational objectives.
