Summary The Accounting Associate will assist in the development of the operating budget and act as a budget liaison for assigned units. The position will perform journal entries and other month-end and year-end close duties. The Accounting Associate will perform financial analysis on various financial statement line items, and assist with other day to day business office duties as assigned and directed by management. The Accounting Associate is responsible for the payroll and taxable income functions within the Athletic Department. This position will act as a key technical expert on all payroll, time keeping, and tax reporting tasks, and will ensure the Athletic Department is following all applicable payroll laws and University policies.
