Boise State Athletics invites interested applicants for the position of Creative Services Graduate Assistant. The successful applicant will become part of our team as we build a Metropolitan Research University of Distinction. This position will assist in a variety of areas within Creative Services, including but not limited to; post-production videography and editing. The position will require a working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, or a similar non-linear video editing software, as well as a basic understanding of live sports production equipment.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Work on sport specific video projects to help enhance the digital brand of many varsity athletic teams
- Assist video post-production needs across all varsity sports, and supporting areas
- Be responsible for maintaining NCAA, Mountain West Conference and Boise State brand standards
- This position will be required to travel and work nights and weekends

At a minimum, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree
- 1-2 years of experience with sports videography/editing
- Be able to lift 50+ pounds at a time and be capable of being on your feet for long periods of time
Preferred qualifications:
- Knowledge of NCAA Rules and Regulations regarding compliance issues
- Knowledge of various post production shooting and editing techniques, including knowledge in cinematic/DSLR cameras, Adobe Creative Suite, Lighting and other industry standard post production equipment.
Requirements:
- Position will begin in June 2022
- Finalist must enroll and be admitted into the Master of Athletic Leadership program (http://hs.boisestate.edu/mal/) at Boise State University upon acceptance of position
- Finalist must attend classes starting June 21, 2022
Salary and Benefits:
- Position is a 2 year appointment
- Salary will be paid biweekly and will include primary insurance coverage
- Graduate school and fees will be paid for the 2-year Master of Athletic Leadership program while maintaining completion of degree requirements
