The Assistant Director / Football Coaching Video is responsible for assisting the Director / Football Video and Technology in managing and developing a Division I football video program. This position will coordinate with their supervisor on the creation and implementation of all workflows related to providing the football staff with practice and game film, opponent game film, highlight videos, all audio/visual needs, and network maintenance. The incumbent will help create and manage creative presentations for recruitment purposes; assist in the hiring, training, and supervision of student workers; and may assist HokieVision as needed for other sports’ creative needs. The position reports directly to the Director / Football Video and Technology.

Master's degree and/or bachelor's degree with related experience.
Knowledge of professional broadcast quality equipment and nonlinear editing systems (Adobe preferred).
Experience using cameras to videotape football practices, football games, college sporting events for analysis and broadcast.
Must have experience with XOS Thunder & Thundercloud.
Able to work independently and show initiative.
Commitment to diversity.
Good communication skills in order to train student workers and communicate with staff.
Must be able to work nights and weekends.
