Position Title: Vice President of Business Intelligence & Technology Services

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM; weekend and evening hours on occasion as necessary
JOB PURPOSE AND FUNCTION Under the general supervision of the Senior Vice President of Finance, the Vice President of Business Intelligence & Technology Services is primarily responsible for leading the Business Intelligence and Technology Services team including personnel, data, reporting, technical systems, system vendors and budgeting. As a key member of the leadership team, this individual will represent and promote the 12th Man Foundation in support of the Foundation’s mission of funding scholarships, programs, and facilities in support of championship athletics.

- Provide leadership and oversight to the Business Intelligence and Technology
- Services team by ensuring performance and activities are consistent with established goals, objectives, and policies
- Mentor, coach and direct work of subordinate staff
- Review work and progress on projects and processes
- Provide performance evaluations and recommendations for continual success and growth
- Develop strategy and roadmap as it relates to the organization's IT infrastructure (computer and information systems, security, communication systems) and Business Intelligence resource
- Participate in the development and support of the foundation’s strategic plan
- Develop and maintain SQL Server database tables, views, procedures, and reports in data warehouse to support business processes and analytics; Research and fix issues with data or report issue to appropriate vendor when required
- Develop a deep understanding of 12th Man Foundation processes across all business units; work with all units to support technical aspects of ongoing and new projects; Proactively communicate issues and technical outages that may affect them
- Oversee BITS annual budget and ensure that the software, vendors and projects are within budget framework; Evaluate vendors and software cost annually to ensure that software and vendors are still the best option for 12th Man Foundation
- Approve monthly expenses and manage/review expenses quarterly against budget
- Work with Director of Technology: Review hardware lifecycle, network management, software and hardware licensing and security, Review technical plans annually and adjust plans for changing technology landscape, Manage software and technical vendor relationships to ensure good communication, fair value for cost and quick issue resolution; Meet regularly with vendors
- Develop expertise in all enterprise-wide applications and provide subject matter expertise to end users
- Develop and document best practices, processes, and reports to streamline and automate manual processes to improve efficiency and data quality
- Support Foundation efforts to ensure best practices in data and privacy protection

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or combination of education and related experience in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems
- 3+ recent years of experience with SQL Server and T-SQL Development; Ability to write and edit SQL Procedures and Views
- 4+ years of supervising and operating an IT and/or Business Intelligence Team
- 8+ years in IT and/or Business Intelligence
- Proficient in all applications of Microsoft Office and internal donor management systems
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on changing priorities, including weekend, holiday and evening hours
