Provide exceptional service to the Association as a team member within academic and membership affairs. This position is primarily responsible for serving as a member of the Division II team. The candidate will provide rules compliance support to the Division II membership, process legislative relief waivers, academic waivers and support various Division II committees. Other duties may be assigned based on the candidate’s qualifications and interests.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of NCAA rules.
• Two years of full-time professional experience in intercollegiate athletics academic support or advising, intercollegiate athletics compliance, or the legal profession.  Experience within Division II will be considered favorably.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a high volume of job assignments with various deadlines using strong organizational skills.
• Strong oral and written communications skills, including the demonstrated ability to deliver presentations tailored to a variety of audiences.
• This position will require up to 20% travel.
• This position will be based in Indianapolis.
• All national office staff are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.  As a new hire, you will be required to be fully vaccinated within 8 weeks from acceptance of offer and you will be required to show proof of that vaccination.  National office staff (including new hires) who are not fully vaccinated, will be required to undergo weekly PCR testing until fully vaccinated.  New hires may submit a request for a medical or religious exemption to the vaccine requirement 1-week post offer if they cannot comply with this mandate.
