The Football Defensive Quality Control works within the Department of Athletics Football Program and corresponds with parents, recruits, visiting teams, and community members. This position has a broad scope of duties and responsibilities, including the following; - Breakdown and analyze all defensive and special teams coaching strategies of opponent. - Evaluate athletes’ skills and review performance records to determine the strengths and weaknesses of that week’s opponent. - Plan and develop encouragement and motivation for each week’s game for student-athletes. - Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of Appalachian State University defense and provide weekly reports to the defensive coordinator. - Assist in planning coaching and practice sessions in accordance with NCAA r
