The Director of Office of Inclusion is an established thought leader in diversity, equity, and inclusion who is prepared to lead high impact, strategic efforts that actively drive inclusive excellence throughout intercollegiate athletics. The ideal candidate has a proven record of creating, implementing, and assessing successful diversity, equity, and inclusion programming and initiatives. Through collaboration with the inclusion team and other key stakeholders, the Director of Inclusion will advance equity and inclusion through the lens of intersectionality across the five core focus areas of international student-athletes, LGBTQ, race and ethnicity, students with disabilities, and women. The Director of Inclusion is collaboratively responsible for building inclusion across the five key areas and directly responsible for developing, leading and executing inclusion initiatives for the core areas of disability and LGBTQ.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Advanced Degree Preferred.
• Five years’ related experience in directing equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives
• Understanding of the NCAA structure and function.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
• All national office staff are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.  As a new hire, you will be required to be fully vaccinated within 8 weeks from acceptance of offer and you will be required to show proof of that vaccination.  National office staff (including new hires) who are not fully vaccinated, will be required to undergo weekly PCR testing until fully vaccinated.  New hires may submit a request for a medical or religious exemption to the vaccine requirement 1-week post offer if they cannot comply with this mandate.
