Reporting directly to the Director of Ticket Operations, responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, assists in the management and overall day-to-day operations of the USF Athletics ticket office; supervises game day box office for football and basketball; manages ticket operations for concerts and entertainment events held at the Sun Dome Arena; coordinates the hiring, training, and scheduling of temporary/part-time staff; handles customer service matters; prepares financial settlements and reports; works in collaboration with other areas of the USF Athletic Department to meet departmental goals; handles any other tasks assigned. This position requires extended weekday and weekend hours and may also impact holidays.
Duties: Generate revenue via new season ticket sales, mini plan sales, and group sales for football, men and women's basketball. Assistance with special projects such e.g., bowl game sales, and basketball post season games. Provide assistance with ticket sales in Olympic sports (sports other than football and basketball). Responsible for donor renewals, donor money, Conference Tournament and post season tickets; provides continuous customer service with existing clients and maintains retention of existing clients. Makes outbound calls to solicit athletic ticket purchases to generate sales.
Responds to inbound sales calls; responds to inquiries and provides information and /or follow up materials as requested Prepares weekly sales activity reports Develops and manages a business network for future sales prospects through leads and referrals. Represents USF to alumni and other prospective ticket buyers by explaining features and benefits associated with ticket plans. Maintains knowledge of ticket plan programs as well as ticket holder preferences.
Performs other related duties and/or projects as assigned.
This position requires a Master's degree in education or a field of study related to the academic program, or a Bachelor's degree in those same fields with a minimum of two years of experience.
Master's degree in related field along with one year experience in ticket office operations.
Successful candidate must demonstrate strong technical, managerial, and organizational skills and also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to interact in a diverse work environment. Ticketmaster/Archtics experience a plus. Must have knowledge of NCAA Rules and Regulations.
