McKendree University is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a full-time Assistant Coach for the Men’s Football program. McKendree University is a member of the NCAA and the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Since the football program was revived in the mid-1990s, the McKendree football program has won more than 70 percent of its games and produced seven conference championships and nine national tournament appearances.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and coaching experience at either the high school, college, or professional level. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting student athletes to participate at the NCAA Division II level, coaching a position on the field assigned by the Head Coach, and any other responsibilities given by the Head Coach. The candidate will maintain compliance with all NCAA Division II guidelines and regulations. Travel is required.

With a total enrollment of over 2,500 students, McKendree offers undergraduate and graduate programs on campus, online, and at off-site locations in Southern Illinois and Kentucky.
