- Responsible for daily operations of Athletic Facilities for the University of Memphis Athletic Department, including but not limited to: serving as a liaison between Physical Plant and Athletics; placing, documenting and following up on Work Orders for repairs through facility walkthroughs, scheduling custodial or after hours work as need, schedule contractors for repairs outside of physical plant, ensure all athletic facilities or appropriate locations as directed are prepared for game day or special event (conference, NCAA tournament, etc.) activities, communicate with coaches and administration for updates, concerns and needs.
-Coordinate key and access control for athletic facilities, place telecommunications and IT requests as needed, coordinate relocation or removal of athletic property through campus surplus. Assist with office moves and building space reallocations. Assist with all appropriate inventory and asset management as needed for the Athletic Department.
-Maintain a shared facility calendar for the Athletic Department to ensure facilities are not double booked, but properly scheduled for internal and external events. Assist and coordinate outside rentals and usage of athletic facilities. Attend events as directed.
-Assist with Football Game Day duties including Parking Lot preparations and any other sports game day operations as needed including assisting with credentials. Assist with other athletic projects as needed.
-Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum 2 years of experience in an intercollegiate or professional athletics setting. Must have a valid driver’s license.
