Fairleigh Dickinson University-Metropolitan is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Graduate Women’s Bowling Coach. The position will work directly with the women’s bowling program and will assist the head coach in all facets of the women’s bowling program.
FDU has won two bowling NCAA National Championships (2006 and 2010) and recently won the NEC Championship in 2021.

Compensation:Graduate tuition; housing; and stipend
Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
Be a part of daily office hours with the rest of the staff and student-athletes
Assist with practice, competition preparation and execution
Assist with team travel and the organization of team meals
Handle social media responsibilities
Call recruits, email/text recruits, maintain recruiting logs, and setting up on-campus visits
Help with community service scheduling
May participate in various fundraising, marketing, promotional activities
Help to organize and manage a Reunion Dinner and other alumni relations activities
Help to organize camps and clinics
Other duties as assigned
Strong knowledge of bowling at an intercollegiate level or above
Knowledge of bowling equipment
Knowledge of NCAA Division I rules and regulations
Bachelor’s Degree required
Acceptance into a graduate program at FDU
Must take NCAA recruiting exam within 30 days of hiring.
Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Must be willing to travel and be available to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as required.
Must have a First Aid and CPR certification or obtain them during the 90-day Introductory Period. National Red Cross Certification preferred.
Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record in accordance with the university’s Motor Vehicle policy. A MVC check will be required at the time of hire and thereafter as deemed appropriate by the university. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the MVC check.
Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
