Louisiana Tech University is seeking applications for the role of Assistant Director of Ticket Operations. The Assistant Director of Ticket Operations is a 12-month position with an option for an additional 12-months. This position will report directly to the Director of Ticket Operations and will assist in the oversight, management, and accountability of the Louisiana Tech Ticket Office. Job duties include but are not limited to: •Process and assist in the printing, organizing and distribution of all season, mini-plans, and a single game tickets. •Assist in the hiring, training, scheduling, and managing of game day and box office staff, including student workers. •Assist with ticket operations for all LA Tech ticketed events, including secondary supervisory responsibilities for football ticket operations, and supervisory responsibilities to women’s basketball and softball ticket operations. •Other tasks at the discretion of the Director of Ticket Operations.
Qualifications The ideal candidate would have the following: •Bachelor’s Degree •2 years of experience in an athletics department as an undergraduate student worker or graduate assistant •Knowledge and experience working with a ticketing system (Ticketmaster Archtics preferred) •Previous cash handling experience preferred. •Strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and superior customer service skills. •Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Office Suite, specifically Excel. •Ability to adapt to changes, work efficiently under high pressure and produce accurate results in a fast-paced environment. •Possess a team-oriented attitude, relationship building, professional demeanor, and attitude.
This position will receive a $1,400 monthly stipend and will meet weekly with the Director of Ticket Operations to discuss oversight and ticket timeline needs. This position will have the opportunity to work alongside the revenue generation team in an effort to provide the best customer service possible while helping to generate revenue for Louisiana Tech Athletics. This position requires work during non-traditional hours (nights, weekends, and holidays).
