Ave Maria University is seeking applications for the position of Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach. This is a full time, 12-month position reporting to the Director of Athletics.
The primary duty of the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach is to teach, train, and develop the skills of student athletes in the sport of lacrosse while integrating the Catholic faith through mentorship and virtue development.
The Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach will manage the planning and administration of the women’s lacrosse program and will provide leadership and oversight to the student athletes, serve as a positive mentor, and create a positive image within the Ave Maria University mission for the women’s lacrosse program.
The Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach will also be responsible for managing the sport’s administration including, but not limited to, implementing a virtue development program, recruitment and retention of student athletes, scheduling, travel, budget management, fundraising, equipment, and overall program management.
The Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach will adhere to all guidelines and regulations set forth by the Mid-South Conference, NAIA and Ave Maria University.
A Bachelor’s degree and previous lacrosse coaching experience are required.
