Successful candidate will assist the Head Women’s Soccer Coach with:
Practice & Game coaching (Goal Keeper Training Specifically)
Coordination & Development of Summer Camps
Recruiting – assist in the recruitment of Student-athletes & negotiate scholarship offers as directed by the head coach. Attend off-campus games for the purpose of evaluation of potential student-athletes. Dissemination of recruiting materials and planning of on campus visits.
Coaching – prepare, plan, conduct and evaluate practice sessions under the guidance of the head coach. Teach player skill development before during and after scheduled practices & games during the season and off-season periods. Goal keeper experience is preferred.
Team Administration – as directed by the head coach assist in the administration of travel for the team. Organizes hotels, meals and paperwork before and after each trip. Maintains equipment inventory and oversees distribution and collection to and from team.
Academics – assists with the monitoring of academic performance, progress and attendance of student-athletes.
Community Relations – maintain frequent and consistent public contact with high schools, colleges and clubs for recruitment, scouting and public relations.
Other Duties – perform other duties as assigned by the head coach or athletic department administration.
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
Previous Collegiate Experience as a Player or Coach Preferred
Goal Keeper Experience Preferred
Additional Salary Information: The employee will be given free housing on campus with no additional bills plus 19 meals a week on campus
