The department of Athletics and Recreation at Clarkson University invites applicants to apply for the 10 month full time position of Head Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Coach. The swimming and diving program competes at the NCAA Division III level and is a member of the Liberty League.
A successful coach for Clarkson will provide effective leadership in each of the following areas: recruiting, teaching, coaching, counseling, marketing, alumni relations, fund raising, sport administration, and other duties as assigned. It will be necessary to prioritize and balance these activities in a manner that best promotes and advances the swimming and diving program within all Clarkson University, Liberty League, and NCAA rules and regulations.

Minimum qualifications include: Bachelor’s Degree and collegiate coaching experience in the sport of swimming and diving.
Demonstrated commitment to further the goals and objectives of both the University and Athletic Department, ability to successfully recruit quality student-athletes, knowledge of the NCAA Division III rules and regulations. Lifeguard, CPR and First Aid certification (Required)
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree, Certified Pool Operator, successful head coaching experience at the collegiate level.
