The Bradley University Athletic Department is now accepting applications for the position of Director of Ticket Operations.

This is a full-time position that reports directly to the Associate Athletic Director – Marketing & Tickets. Responsible for the operational aspects of the Ticket Office including settlements, deposits, audits, invoicing, record keeping, staffing, building ticketed events, maintaining the database, and other duties. Secondarily responsible for organizing and executing ticket sales at all ticketed home sporting events including: men’s basketball, women’s basketball, men’s soccer, volleyball, baseball and softball.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Supervise all operational functions regarding the Bradley Ticket Office including but not limited to:
Invoice, collect and maintain record-keeping pertaining to all applicable sales and events
Season ticket renewal campaign
Independently compose reports and correspondence. In response to inquiries, communicate effectively the policies and procedures under which Bradley’s Ticket Office operates
Conducting yearly audits in conjunction with the university’s Controller’s Office
On-board, train, schedule and supervise student staff
Build seasons and events in Ticketmaster Archtics and Host
Do daily deposits for regular ticket office hours as well as for events
Help facilitate and fulfill outbound sales orders
Operate and oversee ticketing operations at on and off-campus venues during games.
Assist with other elements of the Ticket Office including but not limited to:
Inbound sales calls
Help execute sales campaign or promotional initiatives established by the Associate AD – Marketing & Tickets
Work with other campus entities regarding outside events such as IHSA, ACBU concerts, commencement ceremonies, US Open Cup games
Utilize resources in carrying out duties and responsibilities e.g., time, staff, and professional expertise/knowledge
Professional and appropriate handling of sensitive information
A Bachelor’s degree is required. Knowledge of policies and procedures of the department, NCAA, MVC Conference and other organizations having official affiliation with the University and involving sports programs; 1-2 years’ experience in ticket sales or operations at a collegiate or professional organization preferred; experience working with Ticketmaster, including both Archtics and Host programs preferred; Knowledge of PCI Compliance procedures. The ideal candidate must be able to provide excellent customer service both on the phone and in person, have a sales-focused mentality, and be driven by the desire to achieve goals. This candidate will also display the ability to learn and work both independently, and in a team setting. The willingness to work athletic events, an irregular schedule, weekends and evenings is required.
