Upper Iowa University invites applications for an open Athletic Trainer position. This is a 12-month position with a July start date.
Responsibilities are assisting the Athletic Training Staff with all aspects of a NCAA Division II athletic training program. This includes but is not limited to; prevention, assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and administration of athletic injuries, travel with assigned teams (primary coverage responsibility is wrestling), and other duties assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer. Upper Iowa University has 22 sports and is a member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).
Qualifications include a degree in Athletic Training, Master’s degree preferred, BOC certification, eligible for Iowa state licensure, and CPR/AED certification.
