Simpson College seeks qualified candidates for a Full Time - Head Coach – Strength & Conditioning / Coordinator of Athletics Facilities & Game Operations.
This position reports directly to the Director of Athletics and will manage the day-to-day operations of the strength & conditioning program as well as managing athletic facilities and game/event operations, emphasizing:
Coordinate, supervise, and coach all aspects of a comprehensive strength & conditioning program for all student athletes and intercollegiate athletic programs.
Collaborate with Sports Medicine staff on injury prevention and post injury rehabilitation.
Promote strength & conditioning program to all prospective student athletes.
Collaborate with coaching staff on sport specific programming for proper training of student athletes.
Supervision of the program’s operational budget
Fundraising support for program needs
Coordinate all game operations/event management set-up and personnel.
Administer all aspects of athletic facilities management, operation, and scheduling.
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to work with a diverse student and staff population.
Strong organization skills
Demonstrable aptitude for computer skills (PC-based Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel).
The successful candidate will also have the ability to work as a team member as well as independently.
