Dominican University is accepting applications for a full-time Head Women’s Bowling Coach & Men’s Club Bowling Coach / Contest Manager. The Head Women’s Bowling Coach & Men’s Club Bowling Coach / Contest Manager will report directly to the Assistant Director of Athletics.
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, assisting with event management and/or serving as contest manager; directing and supervising the assistant coaching staff; identifying and recruiting academically and athletically qualified prospective student-athletes to maintain roster range; managing the operating budget and agency account; developing the contest schedule; monitoring the student-athletes’ academic performance; coordinating team travel and meals; coordinating team transportation needs with the appropriate Department of Athletics staff; coordinating the purchase, distribution, collection and inventory of team uniforms, equipment and supplies; coordinating team fundraising; adhering to USBC requirements, eligibility and memberships for club men’s bowling and accepting and fulfilling other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong leadership and collaborative abilities; Proficiency with NCAA Division III rules and regulations; Ability to multi-task effectively and strong attention to detail; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Competence with computer skills; Ability to thrive in a diverse and growing environment; Ability to work evenings and weekends.
