The Director of Operations, Women’s Basketball will assist the Head Coach with the organization, development and implementation of a nationally competitive, NCAA Division I intercollegiate program. Specific responsibilities include: coordinating team and recruiting travel and logistics; assisting with monitoring the operating and scholarship budget expenditures; assisting with the academic development of student-athletes; assisting with the scheduling of practices and games; coordinating the use of facilities; assisting the equipment manager with the ordering, issuing, and collecting of athletic equipment; arranging special events, including fundraising; developing and coordinating community outreach programs; and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.

Bachelor’s degree required along with a minimum of four (4) years of experience working in basketball operations at the NCAA Division I level is required. Must possess strong administrative and organization skills and demonstrate excellent communication skills, written and oral, to interact effectively with internal and external constituents (coaches, staff, student-athletes, recruits, donors, fans, etc.). Must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced collegiate environment. Must have the ability to work a non-traditional schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays as well as being available for frequent travel.
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in basketball operations at the NCAA Division I level is preferred.
