This position serves as the head coach for the softball team. This program compete in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference, and the NCAA Division III. The head softball coach is responsible for program building including but not limited to planning, coaching, recruiting, and retention of the softball team. This position is responsible for fielding competitive softball teams and will be assessed over a three to four year period. The head women’s softball coach will have other responsibilities, based on experience, may include but are not limited to: game management for fall and/or winter sports; intramural coverage, strength and conditioning; SAAC: and/or teaching pending on qualification. Work is performed under general supervision and performance evaluation is based upon completion of assignments and results obtained. This position reports to the deputy director of athletics
Bachelor’s degree required in a field related to Sport Management, Wellness, Education, or Health and Physical education.
Previous college softball coaching experience required.
Master’s degree in a field related to Sport Management, Wellness, Education, or Health and Physical education.
Previous NCAA college softball head coaching experience.
