Formulate a successful philosophy to promote the educational welfare and sportsmanship of the student-athlete. Develop a competitive program that will represent the institution and community in a positive manner. Prepare a yearly budget for the program. Purchase equipment and uniforms, and maintain records of all purchases. Work with the Director of Athletics & athletic front office for Compliance and to ensure all players meet applicable eligibility requirements and prepare all necessary forms on a timely basis. Develop practice and competition schedules. Make all travel arrangements and coordinate with the transportation director. Must be able to obtain and maintain an CDL Driver License and ensure coaching staff attains license. Conduct fundraising activities to supplement the program budget. Track academic progress of student-athletes within the program. Follow all NAIA, conference and institutional policies. Support the philosophy and mission of the department and institution. Perform all other duties as assigned. Position starting June 15, 2021.
Master’s degree preferred but not required.
Recruiting, admissions experience, computer and technology proficiency is preferred.
two years of collegiate coaching experience.
Bachelor’s degree if hired for a non-teaching position.
