JOB SUMMARY: Responsibilities include but are not limited to; recruiting, scouting, practice planning and management, statistical analysis, driving and other duties as assigned by head coach.
JOB DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: •Assist in recruitment of quality student athletes including but not limited to: off-campus evaluation, contacts, organization of on-campus visits, and tryouts. •Advise and instruct student-athletes on skill development. •Be an integral part of practice and game preparation. •Attend and actively participate during all games, practices, weightlifting sessions, conditioning sessions, individual workouts, team meetings and film sessions. •Oversee program-wide academic monitoring system of all student-athletes. •Upload and download all necessary game film to/from Hudl, as needed. •Supply necessary game film for opponents and head coach. •Assist in the oversight of in-season and off-season strength & conditioning program. •Scouting of opponents and presenting of scout to team on upcoming game strategies. •Liaison for the program with the Athletic Training Staff. •Equipment and gear maintenance. •Advise student-athletes in their day to day activities. •Maintain a good working relationship with all athletic coaches and staff regarding facility use and condition. •Must have a strong work ethic and lead by example. •Must be a professional, credible and respected representative of the institution internally and in the community •Demonstrated willingness and ability to act ethically and socially responsible manner. •Must be able to lift more than 50-lb. objects; frequent bending, stooping, and walking. •Ability to communicate in a courteous manner •Other duties as assigned by the Head Volleyball Coach or designee.

NAIA collegiate playing experience preferred. Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass the NAIA recruiting test and a comprehensive background check. Ability to work various hours, including nights and weekends throughout the year for practice, games and recruiting. A commitment to NAIA rules, compliance, and the University’s mission is required.
Preferred: Previous successful coaching experience and/or playing experience and recruiting at the collegiate level.
