Sports Medicine, Sports Medicine - Athletic Training
The Athletic Trainer will assist the Director of Athletic Medicine with the organization and administration of medical care for student-athletes. This position is supervised by the Senior Associate Director of Athletic Medicine and supervises Graduate Student Athletic Trainers (GEs) and/or interns.
Minimum Requirements • Master’s degree and current BOCATC certification • One year of athletic training experience at Division I university
Must be eligible for Oregon licensure as an athletic trainer.
Professional Competencies • Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare delivery team • Excellent problem solving and communication skills • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 100 pounds • Ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students from diverse backgrounds
Preferred Qualifications • Two years of athletic training experience at Division I university • Ability to apply advanced clinical skills to support Athletic Healthcare is strongly desired
