Job Summary & Purpose: Under the direction of the Program Director, Finance & Analytics, this individual will serve as a point-of-contact for financial planning and internal control functions within the Department of Athletics. The Program Manager will be responsible for the appropriate, accurate and timely treatment of obligations in accordance with the University’s Handbook of Business Procedures (HBP) and internal Policies and Procedures governed by the Athletics Department’s Leadership Team.
Job Details: Revenue Management; Responsible for the timely and accurate management of funds, including but not limited to: endowment accounting, restricted and capital gifts, multi-media rights, licensing, and other material revenue sources. Develop and maintain complex financial models to validate financial projections and benchmarks, in support of the Athletics Financial Master Plan (FMP) and Athletics Operations. Manage the comprehensive accounts receivable program ensuring the timely collection of funds with corresponding source data.
Financial Planning and Analysis; Develop and maintain complex financial models related to the Athletic Department’s deferred maintenance and capital program, University transfers and administrative fees, debt service and internal lending programs, and other relevant cost centers and operating agreements. Establish financial KPIs to aid in decision making, budgeting and operational efficiency in support of the Athletics CFO.
Financial Controls & Procedures; Serve as the primary point of contact for the Inventory and ensure compliance with the University’s HBP for Inventory control and reporting. Assist the Program Director(s) and Chief Financial Officer with the development, management and distribution of relevant policies and procedures to ensure appropriate internal controls and record keeping. Responsible for specified financial duties, organized and assigned to ensure the most effective segregation of duties across the Business Office staff. Best Practices & Business Process Improvement; Research best practices and alternative solutions for current business office applications and procedures. Work with the financial leadership to propose, alter, design and implement appropriate solutions to resolve inefficiencies and strengthen internal controls.
Gameday Support; Support the Athletic Department at home events/contests in support of our strategic plans and goals.

Bachelor’s Degrees plus two years of experience in a relevant field, including experience in an NCAA Division 1 Athletics Department. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
