McKendree University is accepting applications for a full-time Sports Information Director (SID). The SID will report directly to the Director of Athletics.
The successful candidate will be responsible for oversight of a comprehensive public relations program and serving as the primary media contact for McKendree University’s 36 athletic programs. The position will be in charge of distribution of all department related news releases, game statistics reporting, production of department publications, and other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics. The position requires the ability to handle an irregular work schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
•Previous work experience with the athletics environment.
•Experience with sports information management.

With a total enrollment of over 2,500 students, McKendree offers undergraduate and graduate programs on campus, online, and at off-site locations in Southern Illinois and Kentucky.
