Position Purpose - The Junior Director will be in charge of recruiting and development U10, U11 and U12 age groups. This position requires the ability to educate both various coaches and players. The Junior Director must be organized, self-motivated and possess an extensive background in soccer.
Minimum Skills & Experience
USSF National C or NSCAA Equivalent
5 Years Playing & 5 Years Coaching Experience
Unique Aspects To This Position - The Junior Director must be able to demonstrate the skills and techniques of soccer. He/She must be able to articulate and communicate the technical and tactical demands of the game. The position requires an outgoing personality with the ability to work with volunteers.
Work office hours (12+ hours per week) dealing with administrative duties related to job description
Work weeknights 4-5 days per week, (10+ hours coaching per week)
Head Coach Two top teams within the girl’s program assigned by the Girls DOC
Must be able to work on Saturdays and some Sundays to observe matches thru the season (8+ per week)
Recruit new players from both inside our Recreation and RDL Program and outside the program into the competitive program.
Observe weekend matches and provide feedback and education for future player/coach development
Coordinate and work with Girls Technical Staff
Communicate with RDL and Technical Director’s on a weekly basis
Seek continued coaching education paid and supported by club
Work Winter Academy & Winter Competitive & Summer Camps
Participate in internal club and outside coaching education programs
