Adrian College is accepting applications for the position of full-time Assistant Athletic Trainer. Adrian is an NCAA Division III Liberal Arts College located in southern Michigan. The position is a full time, 10-month contract. It includes a stipend of $10,000, housing and utilities, meal plan.
This position involves strong communication skill both verbal and written. The successful candidate will: Coordinate and deliver athletic training services for student athletes involved in Adrian's 50 sports program. Evaluate and treat injuries at practices and games. Design and supervise rehabilitation programs. Administer athletic training to assigned. Adhere to all NCAA Division III and MIAA rules and regulations. Preform other duties as assigned teams. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or a related field. NATABOC Certified. Current CPR and AED certification. Must be able to perform duties within the normal bounds of an office environment as well as stand for long periods of time and be exposed to a variety of weather conditions. Must also be able to bend, squat, kneel and demonstrate a variety of physical therapy techniques to student athletes.

Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working as a trainer at the collegiate level is preferred. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is able to work independently, has excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills and will be someone who is able to interpret, apply and comply with all NCAA and MIAA rules and regulations.
