The University of North Alabama is looking to hire a graduate assistant coach for the Women’s Volleyball program. UNA is a Division I University located in Florence, Alabama. The UNA Lions compete in the Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the head and assistant coach with all areas of managing the volleyball program including, but not limited to:
•Adhering to any and all NCAA, ASUN and UNA policies, rules, regulations and operational procedures.
•Assisting the organization and direction of day to day operations.
•Ability to coach athletes in several positions.
•Assist with practice set up and take down.
•Assist with film breakdown and video sessions.
•Assist with practice planning and organization.
•Assist with team travel and operations.
•Transporting student-athletes for competition and events as needed.
•Monitor student academic performance.
•Aiding in the marketing and social media presence of the program.
•Assist with summer camps.
•Perform other related departmental duties as required.
2-4 years playing or coaching experience at the Division I level.
Additional Salary Information: $1,000 per month paid August - April (can adjust and prorate as needed)
9 hours per semester
