Defiance College, chartered in 1850, is an independent, liberal arts institution affiliated with the United Church of Christ. The campus is located on 150 acres in a residential area in the city of Defiance in Northwest Ohio. The College offers more than 40 undergraduate majors, graduate programs in education and business, sponsors 21 intercollegiate athletic teams, and has received national recognition for its educational experience of service and engagement.
