Black Hills State University, a member of NCAA DII and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference is seeking to fill a Graduate Assistant – Rec Sports & Operations/Events Management position in its athletic department for the 2021-2022 academic school year. 1) Operations/Events Management – Responsibilities would include assisting with the direction of the BHSU athletics department; including but not limited to the coordination of Young Center events, front desk, fitness center, laundry services, aquatics center, scheduling, game day responsibilities, and operations duties. 2)Rec Sports - Responsibilities include supervising and coordinating all intramural sports, tracking game results/stats, hiring, training, schedule and supervise intramural staff, and performing equipment inventory and purchasing requests. Additionally, monitoring Rec Sports social media. This position will report directly to the Club and Rec Sports Director, Athletic Director and Asst. AD, and requires some nights and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree & acceptance into a Graduate Studies program at Black Hills State University is required. Anticipated starting date is Fall 2021.
