This position specifically supports the mission of the University and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics by assisting in institutional compliance with NCAA and Conference rules and regulations.

NCAA Compliance: Direct, coordinate, monitor, and verify compliance with all NCAA requirements; Educate various constituencies of the University and the community regarding NCAA/MAC/NCHC regulations; Work with institution's registrar, faculty athletic representative, and NCAA Eligibility Center to certify requirements for student-athletes' initial, continuing, and transfer eligibility; Complete and monitor rosters/squad lists for all 19 Division I sports teams, including financial aid; Coordinate NCAA Recruiting Test with Faculty Athletic Representative; Educate and monitor playing and practice seasons, including but not limited to CARA logs, summer leagues, employment, competition dates, and tournament/post season play; Educate and monitor student-athletes and staff regarding amateurism including, but not limited to professional teams, employment, promotions; Administer the Student-Athlete Guidelines, Drug Test Consent, and other conference and national forms to all student-athletes; Assist with investigations and reporting of any suspected regulation violations, including follow-up instruction and education to those staff and/or student-athletes subsequently found to be in violation of any pertinent rules; Comply with NCAA and Conference rules and regulations. Manage staff, and identify and oversee the education of and work product of compliance assistants and interns.
