Missouri Western State University is a public, state-supported institution providing career-oriented certificate, associate, baccalaureate and master’s degree programs. Missouri Western is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and is an AQIP Participant. Western continues to honor its tradition of open access, serving both traditional and non-traditional students. Founded in 1915, Missouri Western has grown to an enrollment of more than 5,000 students, served by more than 200 faculty members. A beautifully landscaped campus complements contemporary institutional and recreational facilities. The campus consists of 14 major buildings and a student-housing complex located on 744 acres.
