Assistant Coach- Strength & Conditioning
UW-Milwaukee
Under the direction of the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, design, implement and supervise strength and conditioning programs for male and female student-athletes. Provide and/or assist coaches with technique instruction in strength training and program design within the scope of the sport and provide education and development in strength, conditioning, and nutrition.

Minimum Qualifications: -Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology/Exercise science or related field -Current NSCA-CSCS and/or CSCCa SCCC certification(s) -Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certifications -Minimum of 3 years of Strength and Conditioning experience (including internship experience)
Preferred Qualifications: -Master’s degree in Kinesiology/Exercise science or related field -Minimum of 2 years of collegiate Graduate Assistantship or 1 year of part-time or full time Collegiate strength and conditioning experience with direct oversight of teams -Demonstrated experience working with Women’s Basketball -Demonstrated experience working with 1 or more of the following sports: Volleyball, Baseball, Swim/Dive, Track/Field and/or Women’s Soccer -Demonstrated experience hiring, training and mentoring interns -Demonstrated experience collaborating with sport coaching staffs and sports medicine staffs |
