Assistant Athletic Trainer/COVID Testing Worker

Washington College is seeking qualified applicants for a Part-Time Assistant Athletic Trainer and Part-Time COVID Testing Worker. The Assistant Athletic Trainer assists the Director of Sports Medicine with the 18 varsity sports of Washington College within the domains of practice and competencies of athletic training as defined by the National Athletic Trainers Association and Board of Certification. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, evaluation and treatment of injuries at practices and games, design and supervision of rehabilitation programs, administration of athletic training duties as assigned and working with team physicians and student health services. Requires some travel and work over holidays and weekends. Primary sports coverage TBD. The person in this position will also work as a COVID Testing Worker for the athletics department only. This position will administer COVID tests under the guidance of both health services and athletic department staff. The Testing Worker will be involved in the testing process from administering the test to gathering samples to be processed. No prior experience is necessary for the Testing Worker position as training will be provided prior to start date.
