Director of Ticketing and Promotions

Description This full-time, year-round position provides a Director of Ticketing and Promotions for the Department of Athletics. The primary responsibilities include serving as the Athletics Ticket Manager; including developing athletic ticket sales and strategies (single game and season); communication and great customer service of ticket sales to the general public; coordinating tickets for Pack Club and corporate partners; hiring, managing and guiding ticket personnel (part-time, student and work study) for regular, post-season (RMAC, NCAA) and external (AAU, CHSAA, CHSCA) game-day sales at events; providing oversight of University Ticket System; preparing all internal and external audit documents and total reconciliation of ticket sales in coordination with the Associate Athletic Director for External Relations and Development and Director of Athletics; managing weekly appearances of the mascot on campus or at local events; designing and implementing marketing plans and ideas for home athletic events; working with the Associate Athletic Director on the annual Pride of the Pack banquet, special events, and ThunderWolf Golf Classic; assisting with the Junior ThunderWolves program, and other duties as assigned by the Associate Athletic Director for External Relations and Development and/or Director of Athletics. Primary Duties: -Direct the selling of all athletic season and single-game tickets including communication and great customer support as well as hiring/staffing help for selling tickets. -Manage the ticketing system (University Ticket System). -Create single-game and season ticket sales tactics, plans and communication in coordination with Athletics staff. -Assist Associate Athletic Director for External Relations and Development with marketing plan, special events, and Junior ThunderWolves program. -Prepare internal and external audit documents. -Coordinate season ticket mail out and distribution plan. -Attend External Affairs Staff meetings and work collaboratively with administrative team. -Other duties as assigned by the Associate Athletic Director and/or Director of Athletics.
