Washington College seeks 2 qualified applicants for a Part-Time Assistant Athletic Trainer. This is a 10-month position. The Assistant Athletic Trainer assists the Director of Sports Medicine with the 18 varsity sports of Washington College within the domains of practice and competencies of athletic training as defined by the National Athletic Trainers Association and Board of Certification. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, evaluation and treatment of injuries at practices and games, design and supervision of rehabilitation programs, administration of athletic training duties as assigned and working with team physicians and student health services. Requires some travel and work over holidays and weekends. Primary sports coverage TBD.

Bachelor’s degree in athletic training or a related field required
Outstanding communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills
Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) by the Board of Certification at the time of hire
Maryland State Licensure (or eligible)
CPR/AED and First Aid Certified
