Job Description: Reporting to the Director of Athletics and Recreation, the Head Cross Country/Track and Field Coach will administer and coordinate all aspects of an NCAA Division III program within the rules, guidelines and principles of the NCAA, Great Northeast Athletic Conference and the College. Responsibilities will include: *Coaching *Coordination of recruiting process *Monitoring academic progress *Scheduling *Budget administration *Selection and supervision of Assistant Coaches *Scouting *Being an engaged member of the athletic department and college community *Onsite game day management as assigned *Department travel coordinator for transportation scheduling arrangements, lodging and meals. *Coordinator of Fitness and Nutrition

Our ideal candidates will demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the College's mission and the value of Catholic higher education. A Bachelor's degree is required, and a Master's degree is strongly preferred. Candidates must have a successful background in coaching Cross Country and Track and Field, preferably with at least two years of experience at the collegiate level. Competitive experience is also preferred. Candidates should possess a demonstrated commitment to high academic standards and healthy lifestyles for student-athletes. Must be able to successfully pass the NCAA recruiting examination.
