Southern Illinois University Carbondale is an NCAA Division I member of the Missouri Valley Conference. We are seeking to fill a Men's Baseball Assistant Coaching Position. Duties and Responsibilities: Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Identifying and recruiting quality student-athletes; assisting with the organization and conduct of practices and competitions; promoting the welfare and academic progress of student-athletes; assisting with the daily administrative duties of the program; participating in fundraising and public relations activities; assisting with summer camps; ensuring compliance of the program with University, NCAA, and MVC rules. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, technical knowledge of hitting and defense and the demonstrated ability to apply that knowledge, collegiate or professional competitive playing or coaching experience
Appointment: 12-month term, full-time, salary commensurate with experience.
