The Assistant Athletics Director – Creative Video will lead the video storytelling of Army West Point Athletics. This position will conceptualize, film, and edit professional videos to use on multiple platforms. The Assistant Athletics Director – Creative Video will serve as the lead for digital production and will interface with various internal and external constituencies including, but not limited to Cadet-Athletes, Head Coaches, Strategic Communication, A Club, Army West Point Sports Properties, and the U.S. Military Academy Public Affairs Office.

Search will commence immediately and position will start employment in early 2021.

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Film, edit, and produce video features on Cadet-Athletes, recap videos from games and events, and for special events (Army-Navy uniform reveal, Bowl Games, etc.).

-Oversee the direction and production of preseason video shoots for teams and for videoboard use during games.

-Coordinate with other units within the Athletic Department to provide creative support when needed.

-Supervise two employees and provide guidance on industry best practices and administer coaching and direction when necessary.

-Communicate regularly with the United States Military Academy Office to ensure all content is compliant with applicable policies in place.
