Assists the head coach in all facets of the women’s basketball program to ensure a quality program and successful Division I team. Assumes responsibility for at least two of the following basketball program operations: scouting, recruiting coordination, community relations, scheduling, academic supervision, summer camps. Interacts professionally with all internal and external customers using strong interpersonal skills.
Bachelor’s degree. Minimum one to three years of successful prior experience coaching basketball at the high school, collegiate or equivalent level. Knowledge of and commitment to NCAA rules. Valid driver’s license and ability to establish driver eligibility under the University’s Driving and Motor Vehicle Policy.
Demonstrated ability to recruit/sign quality student athletes. Successful Midwest region recruitment experience. Demonstrated excellence in player development. Synergy System experience. Experience in student-athlete academic support. Practice/Game scheduling experience. Experience in sport camp/clinic development, administration.
