Birmingham-Southern College has an opening for Head Coach of Men’s and Women’s Golf. The Head Coach is responsible for initiating various aspects of the golf programs, such as recruiting, scheduling opponents, and training squad members. Responsibilities also include organizing and scheduling practice sessions and matches, budget formulation, and generating funds in support of the programs.
Birmingham-Southern is an NCAA Division III institution and a member of the Southern Athletic Association.
Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred. A strong commitment to the Student-Athlete concept and a working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations is required. Collegiate coaching experience including effective leadership, communication, coaching and recruiting skills is preferred. Candidates must possess a current driver's license and be insurable. Motor Vehicle Reports will be reviewed on top candidates.
